Jeremy Seals

SGT Jeremy Heath Seals, 45, passed away on October 31, 2018, after a long fight with Stage 4 stomach cancer potentially caused by toxic exposures while serving in Afghanistan and compounded by military medical malpractice. SGT Seals graduated from high school in 1992 and started courses in networking and computer science, which later translated to his job in the Army. Seals enlisted in the Army in 2008 as an Information Technologies Specialist, stationed at Ft Campbell, KY, and deployed to Afghanistan. SGT Seals later served as Chief Information Management Officer in the United States Army with the HHC 5-101st Aviation Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, before exiting active duty in April of 2016, and joined the Tennessee National Guard.
After his cancer diagnosis, he was transitioned back to active duty and into the Warrior Transition Battalion. He is survived by his wife and two adult children.
