On Saturday, February 9th 2019, Memories of Honor's Founder & Executive Director, Amy Cotta and eleven of our fallen service men and women were honored during Vanderbilts Salute to Service game against Alabama. Before the game Vanderbilt players wore special shooting shirts that contained the name of a fallen service member. Each Gold Star family in attendance was given a replica of the shoot around shirt to take home.

Earlier that day families were invited to attend Vanderbilt's shoot-around where they got to meet their loved one's player, the entire team, and coaching staff. During the games second media time-out, our Founder Amy Cotta was recognized on the court as Vanderbilt's Hometown Hero for her tireless work to bring public recognition to our fallen and help make new memories for their families.
